Elbader was featured in the July 09 issue of Practical Horseman Conformation Clinic judged by Julie Winkel, a USEF "R" hunter breeding judge. Comments included

* shoulder shows beautiful slope, length and is well laid back. This combined with his upright humerus allows for maximum range of motion and the ability to fold his front legs tightly for jumping.

* he stands on correct legs with good bone, good length from stifle to hock and big clean hocks.
Elbader's sire, Machiavellian, was one of Europe's leading stallions and sire of 2002 Dubai World Cup (UAE-G1) winner Street Cry (Ire) and ten Group One winners.
Derring-Do on his dams side was a very well known Irish producer and Mill Reef is known to be in the pedigree of many French chasers.
